Favorite Nail Polishes ♡

So I know I mentioned finals are around the corner and that I wouldn't be posting much, but who am I kidding? Although I don't have a huge follower number or as many comments I love blogging! So I decided to do something a little different.

I have so many favorites that I seem to never mention and maybe its time that I do, rather than recent buys! So I wanted to do 3 sets of my Favorites starting with Nail Polish, Fragrance, and Makeup ♡

These are all the colors I have been wearing for the fall and I'm currently obsessed with. They're the first ones I grab when I need to redo my nail polish. Try them out, you may fall in love!

Wocka Wocka & Facets of Fuchsia ♡

Just a little update! I ran some errands today and finally picked up Revlon's Facet of Fuchsia from Target that was recently stocked. I'm so happy I finally caught this nail polish because after seeing so many swatches and being obsessed with purple I fell in love! 

I also stopped at Ulta and picked up OPI Wocka Wocka which I'm excited to wear for the holidays!

Getting Naked.....Again ♡

Finals are coming up in about 2 weeks and luckily all my exams fall into the week of Dec 12-16. It will feel so good to have all the classes done but right now is crunch time and I'm hoping I never missed anything. This past week I have been preparing a 10 page paper for my Judicial Process class which had me go to the circuit court in Downtown Detroit and watch a trial.  I went down to Frank Murphy Hall of Justice and got to watch a homicide trial: a drive by that resulted in 3 people being shot and 1 who was also pregnant dead. I know it sounds harsh but this is what I love, not what happened, but watching the whole process to finding out what happened, why, and sending the defendants to jail. My mom joked I looked so passionate when I talked about it, but I really noticed it yesterday when I got to talk to the judge and the other attorneys.

:) I can't wait to start my life in law!

Right now though, I am so stressed and completely tired so this is not only a short blog but the last blog for a while.

Aside from all of that the Naked 2 palette is now Available! After UD teased everyone on facebook with pictures of the wonderful palette, I finally received the email that it was now officially out!

Now I just recently got the first naked palette so I'm not sure how bad I really want the Naked 2 but I might just get it. I also noticed that some colors are the same as the first palette.

Black Friday Preview

So today has been a great day.... woke up and my mom took me to breakfast to tell me she will get me and ipad as long as I pay half. So now the question is: black or white? Whats your favorite color? 

Also, I worked yesterday  and today for a total of 17 hours getting prepared for the awesome Black Friday at V.Secret. Now if you don't know the deals here it is for all stores across the U.S:

Twilight Midnight Viewing

I have to write a review for my Intro to Film class about Twilight (We could pick our own movies) Breaking Dawn that I saw last night at midnight. We got there at 9pm but the theatre we went too was very smart and instead of having lines they opened 4 theatre rooms and we could literally walk in and pick our seats. Me and my friend were catching up but it felt like the night went SO SLOW! By the time the movie started, there were screams and I will admit I was happy to start the movie off with Jacob Shirtless. None the less the movie itself was great. It was more creepier this time than the other movies but at the same time it had such cheesy moments.  Also a few moments where I wanted to completely throw up. The one part I absolutely loved was the wedding ceremony with her dad and her DRESS! It was very beautiful. Since it has been a few years since I read the books I think when the weather is really cold and it starts snowing I'll cuddle up and bring the books out and re-read them because there was a lot I didn't remember. Twilight fan or not, I still think its a great movie for everyone to see. 

On my side of things, I spilled over my popcorn, spilled red bull on my sweatshirt, hurt my hand opening a wine bottle for the women sitting next to us and a girl behind us who cried the entire end. All in all, it was a great night and I definitely needed a night out before the holiday craziness.

NOTD: Tiffany's & First snow!!

Today was a great day!

1) ITS SNOWING!

 2) I decided to do something a little different for my nails. Normally I go for a fall color or something a little dark, but  its been sunny for the past couple of days. Also after having lunch with some of my friends I saw a newspaper ad for Tiffany & CO. and I came up with the idea of using those colors on my nails.

I used:

1) MAC Mischievous Mint (The minty Tiffany box)

2) OPI Crown Me Already (The Silver bow)

I've already gotten a couple compliments on them and I'm really happy with the results! Also like I mentioned before today was the first day of snow falling and as much as I will say its beautiful now, I know I won't say the same in a couple of months! :) Anyways, hope you all are having a lovely week!

Recovering + Halloween Weekend!

So night one of my Halloween weekend went amazing! After running errands all day Friday, me and my two friends drove down to University of Michigan to go stay with some friends for the night. We all got ready, hung out and just enjoyed our time together :) 

Also, I can honestly say that even though I would love to be out tonight for night two, My body needs to recover so instead I am cuddled up in bed working on a presentation for class & watching Hocus Pocus and Matilda. Those were my favorite movies when I was younger so it feels great to watch it again! 

Its funny looking back at the pictures after the fact. Although my eye lashes are already long I decided to go ahead and get some false lashes, that I used last year. It seemed like this year they were SO long!

Too Excited I Can't Hold it In!

Alright so I don't have any pictures of it yet but I'm beyond excited to share my new leggings I got from Forever 21 today. As most know I work at V.Secret at Somerset Mall and there is a Forever 21 about 2 stores down from V.S. Last night, one of my co workers came in with these leggings that were like a Tribal Print in white and black.
The next day I literally went to the store and bought something that ended up not fitting me. By that time it was already my shift so I went to the bathroom, called Forever 21 and had them put the leggings on hold. There was a Tribal white and black legging and tan and black leggings $7.80 each.
I cannot wait to wear them and post a picture of it soon!! But here is the picture from the website....cute right?! :)

Fall: Scarves

So its starting to get very chilly in Michigan and nothing feels better than wearing a nice comfy Northface and a scarf! Normally I don't have a lot of scarves but luckily when I went to Italy I stocked up on 3 beautiful scarves and then yesterday I went with my mom to get her hair done and I got a few more scarves :)
It made me miss the days when I went out with my mom and if she liked something I loved, she would end up buying it for me. But at the same time I now love knowing what I buy is from my own money so I can't complain!

I also bought a Forever 21 Cross Necklace which is very bright and pretty to wear!

Just a Heads Up!

I went to a local Ulta store today with my friend to go pick up OPI "You Don't Know Jacques!" when I came across the sign that by buying two OPI Nail Polishes you can get a free OPI Top or Base Coat! Not sure how many stores are doing this but I'm hoping everyone gets this because that's a good $8.50 I won't have to spend for a new top coat. Sadly, they were all out of the base coats so I had to settle for the top coat but still worth it. I also picked up OPI The Miss Universe "Crown Me Already"

Also, another thing I'm looking forward too is the OPI Muppet Collection. I know word about this collection has been going around since August but since its getting closer to November I'm getting very excited :) I already found a couple colors I'm dying to see and swatch! Just in case you haven't seen it yet here is the full collection.

Fall Nails

Now dark colors are not normally what I do when it comes to nail polish but there's something different about this fall. I already have my Halloween week nails in mind but until then I thought I would bring out the dark purples and gold! I used both OPI Merry Midnight which is a dark purple with specks of red, blue and purple (It's hard to see but very pretty when applied)and OPI "Bring On the Bling" from the Burlesque Collection which is just a gold sparkle Nail polish.

Also as a sidenote, I realized I have NO BOOTS :O
I don't know how this happened but apparently all I have are uggs, so now I am on a mission to find a lot of cute new boots for the fall and winter. If anyone has any favorite websites let me know :)

First Cold of Fall.....literally ♡

So It seems this past weekend Michigan decided to skip Fall and head straight to winter. For the first 3 days of October the weather went from 70 to 40 degrees. With everyone at work getting sick and surprisingly I have been immune to the sickness, I finally became a victim of whatever virus is going around. I have to be honest though this past weekend whether it had a impact on how I feel today, was amazing. I went to my first football game and not any football game, a Big House University Michigan game and it was amazing. Not only did we win 58-0 against Minnesota (because I was there :) ) but I also met some amazing people and got to check out the law school!

Also probably the funniest thing about the game was that I used a Male ID to get into the game and they didn't even look at it! hahaha so for the day I was a male named Noel! Spending the night there really made me rethink my studies and I would love to go to UofM for law school. That means I need to get straight As until I graduate and kick butt on my LSAT.

Another thing I got to experience was my first wake up call by the sorority Frat brothers who decided to bang the life out of the doors as I laid on the floor next too it. (My friend live in the sorority house and the Frat comes at 7am every home game to "wake up" the girls.)

I had an amazing weekend and I guess it was worth getting sick, even though I feel very crappy right now :(

Playing around Naked

So I only used my Naked palette a few times since I've bought it and now I'm ready to bring out the colors for fall :)

I will post pictures of a few as I do them, and please ignore my eyebrows in any future pictures I am trying to grow them out a little and they currently look a little ugly.

For now I have been using my OPI Shatter regularly and today I just did this:

Halloween: Leopard eyes ♡

So everyday of my life I have been told I have long eye lashes. Only recently have I had people question whether they are real or not. Well sorry they are real and sometimes very annoying, but I love them :)

This is a makeup idea I had last year for halloween I wanted to do a leopard eye since I was being a cute cat. First I started the base with all my neutral colors using

Urban Decay Half Baked Eyeshadow (Naked Palette)
Urban Decay Dark Horse (Naked Palette)
Kiko Due Eye Shadow in 100
Kiko Eye Shadow 20

Then after I used a Maybelline Gel liner in black to create the leopard spots all around my eye and on my face. I then filled in the spots with a brown eyeliner and then went over the spots with a brown eyeshadow to make it more blended in.

Final Product:

I added some eye lashes even though they didn't do much they were cute and I spent the night with my girls at the University of Michigan :)

Labor Day & Birthdays

So I'm going to regret posting this knowing that my best friend is going to see this post...but I have an issue. A while ago I posted about how for my 20th birthday my friend not only got me MAC "Mischievous Mint" and Usher Tickets so now its my turn to give her the best birthday. Her birthday was September 1st and I have been trying to plan something to surprise her for her birthday and the Christmas present that never happened years ago.

WELLLLL I just got off the phone with her and the 15 year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection I had in mind is already in her hands! So now I'm back to square one trying to figure out what I should do hmm.......

anyways I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day! Over in Michigan it is cold/chilly and it feels like Fall is finally here. Not sure how excited I really am, but I'm about to start taking out all my hoodies! :)

Italia Withdrawls

So its about to be a month since I've been back from Italy and since the minute the plane landed in Michigan I missed Italy. It doesn't help that the Italian students we lived with post on our walls and statuses on Facebook that they want us to come back and they miss us. :(

I wish I was back there already.....and soon hopefully I will be!

Not only is that a picture of me and the wine I brought back *cough* (smuggled)
But it is also my hair long and I clearly had a few blonde streaks.

I wanted to get a peak a boo light brown faded and the woman gave me blonde streaks.....
So since I got back I decided I needed something different

Officially one color and a lot shorter :) I love it!

(Also sorry my pictures suck, had to buy a new computer before I left for Italy...and the focus and quality sucks)

KIKO Italian Makeup from Italy ♥

Well I'm back from Italy and it has been the hardest couple of days. I've been crying less than I used too and I know that sounds lame but it was the best experience I've ever had in my life. Not only did I meet all the American and Italian students but we all became a family and I cannot wait until I can go back to Italy again!

Like I mentioned in my last post I did a little makeup shopping in Firenze at a store called KIKO. Sadly online and in store are the only ways to buy the product, and so far they do not ship internationally let alone outside of the Italian border. Hopefully that will change soon but I am so happy with my purchases! I actually went in on a whim to show one of my friends some makeup tips and little did I know, I would find the jackpot of Italian makeup!
