Matte About You ♡

I was out with my friend after work and we decided to go out to dinner. In between our talks of the holidays I brought up how much I wanted the new OPI Nicki Minaj Collection but I couldn't find it anywhere. She told me how beauty first had them the other day so once our dinner was over we went straight over there and I purchased Pink Friday ($8.50) and Metallic 4 Life ($8.50). After looking around I also noticed they had Essie's Matte About You for $2 (Priced $5-8)  :O 

I purchased all three and for the past week I've been wearing Pink Friday. I've gotten so many compliments on it but personally I expected it to be a little bit more of an hot pink. Once I put it on though, I fell in love! 

I have not had the chance to wear all three (or get my nails done so I apologize for the horrible cuticles) so I used my nail palettes to show them off :)

Wocka Wocka & Facets of Fuchsia ♡

Just a little update! I ran some errands today and finally picked up Revlon's Facet of Fuchsia from Target that was recently stocked. I'm so happy I finally caught this nail polish because after seeing so many swatches and being obsessed with purple I fell in love! 

I also stopped at Ulta and picked up OPI Wocka Wocka which I'm excited to wear for the holidays!

NOTD: Tiffany's & First snow!!

Today was a great day!

1) ITS SNOWING!

 2) I decided to do something a little different for my nails. Normally I go for a fall color or something a little dark, but  its been sunny for the past couple of days. Also after having lunch with some of my friends I saw a newspaper ad for Tiffany & CO. and I came up with the idea of using those colors on my nails.

I used:

1) MAC Mischievous Mint (The minty Tiffany box)

2) OPI Crown Me Already (The Silver bow)

I've already gotten a couple compliments on them and I'm really happy with the results! Also like I mentioned before today was the first day of snow falling and as much as I will say its beautiful now, I know I won't say the same in a couple of months! :) Anyways, hope you all are having a lovely week!

Just a Heads Up!

I went to a local Ulta store today with my friend to go pick up OPI "You Don't Know Jacques!" when I came across the sign that by buying two OPI Nail Polishes you can get a free OPI Top or Base Coat! Not sure how many stores are doing this but I'm hoping everyone gets this because that's a good $8.50 I won't have to spend for a new top coat. Sadly, they were all out of the base coats so I had to settle for the top coat but still worth it. I also picked up OPI The Miss Universe "Crown Me Already"

Also, another thing I'm looking forward too is the OPI Muppet Collection. I know word about this collection has been going around since August but since its getting closer to November I'm getting very excited :) I already found a couple colors I'm dying to see and swatch! Just in case you haven't seen it yet here is the full collection.

Fall Nails

Now dark colors are not normally what I do when it comes to nail polish but there's something different about this fall. I already have my Halloween week nails in mind but until then I thought I would bring out the dark purples and gold! I used both OPI Merry Midnight which is a dark purple with specks of red, blue and purple (It's hard to see but very pretty when applied)and OPI "Bring On the Bling" from the Burlesque Collection which is just a gold sparkle Nail polish.

Also as a sidenote, I realized I have NO BOOTS :O
I don't know how this happened but apparently all I have are uggs, so now I am on a mission to find a lot of cute new boots for the fall and winter. If anyone has any favorite websites let me know :)

Playing around Naked

So I only used my Naked palette a few times since I've bought it and now I'm ready to bring out the colors for fall :)

I will post pictures of a few as I do them, and please ignore my eyebrows in any future pictures I am trying to grow them out a little and they currently look a little ugly.

For now I have been using my OPI Shatter regularly and today I just did this:

Late Birthday Post Plus Usher/Akon Concert

So I finally got my laptop back which means I'm going to do a complete post on all the things I got for my birthday :)

I finally got the Naked Palette by Urban Decay at a Ulta store near where I live. I found it around my birthday so of course I had to buy it after waiting months.

Then I got a couple new nail polishes.
First is Mischievous Mint by MAC from the Quite Cute collection. I know we've all seen them on plenty of blogs and of course I was dying to get it. When I went to Nordstrom they had one left! My best friend ended up getting it for me and then on my actual birthday my mom surprised me with another so now I have two!

Lastly, for nail polishes that is I got the OPI Shatter and China Glaze "Sun Worshiper". Have yet to use them but now that I'm down to one job that's less physical I will try them soon and have swatches!

Last but not least for my birthday the best friend I mentioned before got Usher tickets where the concert was exactly on my birthday. We were 4 ROWS from the stage and Usher looked so GOOD up close! Here's a few pictures from that night ♥

Hello Kitty & Shatter

The past few days have been really rough for me. I had my first look at what felt to me as failure. After working really hard studying for my math final, I did not get a good enough grade to pass to the next class. Since every university is different I'll explain our math system. Basically you can get an A the entire semester but if you get less than a 70% on the final exam you automatically get a D. In this case, that is what happened to me. After crying for a few days and battling the feeling that I failed myself, I found a positive solution that might help...and hopefully the hard work I put in will pull off. I'm feeling good about this so possibly the D will not hurt me.

After all this craziness my best friend and I went out for a little bit of retail therapy! After fighting the craze of the new OPI Shatter Nail Polish, I finally let in and bought it! Have yet to try it but I start my new job tomorrow so I probably won't do my nails until the weekend. Also we stopped at Forever 21 and for about a month I've been trying to find this cute Hello Kitty half shirt (Also seen in the picture on the left side bar under my about me >>) & FINALLY I FOUND IT! yay!! Cute right?

My First Post :)

So this is my first post ever :) I don't know what has gotten into me. Maybe it's the new year or the OPI Burlesque nail polish collection that has me going crazy with nail polishes. In the past week I have gone through 3 different colors and styles. The first one I was bored and wrote one of my good friends on twitter on my nails, why? I couldn't tell you haha but he liked it, which then made me change them to pink (The name of it rubbed off) and white(Sinful Colors Snow me White). Once i got sick of it I then changed to purple(OPI Do You Lilac It?) which is the most gorgeous color ever!





By the way I just got that ring which is surprisingly cute, normally I think some rings that are rhinestones are cheesy but this was to good to pass up :)
