Getting Naked.....Again ♡

Finals are coming up in about 2 weeks and luckily all my exams fall into the week of Dec 12-16. It will feel so good to have all the classes done but right now is crunch time and I'm hoping I never missed anything. This past week I have been preparing a 10 page paper for my Judicial Process class which had me go to the circuit court in Downtown Detroit and watch a trial.  I went down to Frank Murphy Hall of Justice and got to watch a homicide trial: a drive by that resulted in 3 people being shot and 1 who was also pregnant dead. I know it sounds harsh but this is what I love, not what happened, but watching the whole process to finding out what happened, why, and sending the defendants to jail. My mom joked I looked so passionate when I talked about it, but I really noticed it yesterday when I got to talk to the judge and the other attorneys.

:) I can't wait to start my life in law!

Right now though, I am so stressed and completely tired so this is not only a short blog but the last blog for a while.

Aside from all of that the Naked 2 palette is now Available! After UD teased everyone on facebook with pictures of the wonderful palette, I finally received the email that it was now officially out!

Now I just recently got the first naked palette so I'm not sure how bad I really want the Naked 2 but I might just get it. I also noticed that some colors are the same as the first palette.

Top is the Naked 2 and Bottom is the Naked Original.

Playing around Naked

So I only used my Naked palette a few times since I've bought it and now I'm ready to bring out the colors for fall :)

I will post pictures of a few as I do them, and please ignore my eyebrows in any future pictures I am trying to grow them out a little and they currently look a little ugly.

For now I have been using my OPI Shatter regularly and today I just did this:

Halloween: Leopard eyes ♡

So everyday of my life I have been told I have long eye lashes. Only recently have I had people question whether they are real or not. Well sorry they are real and sometimes very annoying, but I love them :)

This is a makeup idea I had last year for halloween I wanted to do a leopard eye since I was being a cute cat. First I started the base with all my neutral colors using

Urban Decay Half Baked Eyeshadow (Naked Palette)
Urban Decay Dark Horse (Naked Palette)
Kiko Due Eye Shadow in 100
Kiko Eye Shadow 20

Then after I used a Maybelline Gel liner in black to create the leopard spots all around my eye and on my face. I then filled in the spots with a brown eyeliner and then went over the spots with a brown eyeshadow to make it more blended in.

Final Product:

I added some eye lashes even though they didn't do much they were cute and I spent the night with my girls at the University of Michigan :)

Late Birthday Post Plus Usher/Akon Concert

So I finally got my laptop back which means I'm going to do a complete post on all the things I got for my birthday :)

I finally got the Naked Palette by Urban Decay at a Ulta store near where I live. I found it around my birthday so of course I had to buy it after waiting months.

Then I got a couple new nail polishes.
First is Mischievous Mint by MAC from the Quite Cute collection. I know we've all seen them on plenty of blogs and of course I was dying to get it. When I went to Nordstrom they had one left! My best friend ended up getting it for me and then on my actual birthday my mom surprised me with another so now I have two!

Lastly, for nail polishes that is I got the OPI Shatter and China Glaze "Sun Worshiper". Have yet to use them but now that I'm down to one job that's less physical I will try them soon and have swatches!

Last but not least for my birthday the best friend I mentioned before got Usher tickets where the concert was exactly on my birthday. We were 4 ROWS from the stage and Usher looked so GOOD up close! Here's a few pictures from that night ♥

4 Days...

And I will be turning 20! YAYYY
so far my pre-birthday has been amazing...after waiting months beyond months I finally came across the Urban Decay Naked Palette that Ulta just got in the day I walked in. Of course I got it and I have been wearing it almost every day since.
Then for those who read my last post, I have been looking for Mischievous Mint from MAC Quite Cute collection and so far almost everyone was sold out. I went out with my best friend to the mall and we just went to Nordstrom just to see what they have. The minute I walked in the door I hooked my eyes right on the minty nail polish on display. The sales person told me there was only one left and I was seriously about to die because at that time I had no more money. Before I knew it my best friend was pulling out her card and told me Happy Birthday.
Talk about a moment I'll never forget.
I honestly wanted to cry and could not stop hugging her.
Haven't used it yet, but I will for the weekend festivities!
